Cat Wilde and the Lost Chapter is one of the many Book-style slot machines that Play n GO has released over the years. Cat Wilde is one of their major slot series, along with the one using Rich Wilde in the main role. Once again, we’re looking at an adventure that’s taking us into Ancient Egypt’s pyramids and temples. We see the interior of such a building in the background, while on the reels they’ve used mostly the same icons that every other Egyptian game seems to rely on.

A major symbol used in Lost Chapter is the Pyramid, which has three versions with slightly different designs. A gold scroll, with the W logo on it, will act as the wild. Top symbols range from the image of Cat Wilde, to those of Anubis, the Ankh, or Scarabs. There are five lower paying symbols as well, with the 10 to A Royals.

How To Play It

Lost Chapter has a betting range that’s easy to customize. You can have 1 to 10 active lines, with 1 to 5 coins selected for each one, and denominations that go up to $2. This allows for bets of up to $10 per line, and up to $100 per spin.

Like most Book-style slots that we’ve seen so far, Lost Chapter also comes with 10 active lines, spread across 5×3 reels. Forming a combination requires having matching symbols in 3+ positions on the same line, and on adjacent reels.

Special Features

While Lost Chapter belongs in the Book category, the features it proposes are not quite the same as what we see from most similar slots.

For starters, there is a dedicated wild symbol, which you can use only as a substitute. It’s showing the image of a golden scroll, with a W logo on it. You can either rely on it to be a replacement symbol for the regular combinations, or it will pay directly, up to 100x the stake on each line fully covered by it. It can’t replace a scatter.

As for the scatters, there are three different types in place, and each one can lead to a different version of the free spins. Regardless of the type of scatter that you get, they all pay up to 50x the stake and they can lead to free spins. It starts with the regular version of the free spins, but once you get inside new types of Pyramids appear.

The initial 3 Pyramid scatters will get you the free spins feature, where you play with a random special symbol. This is an expanding symbol, which can end up covering all reels and lines, paying a fair amount as a result. Scatters are turned into Wild/Scatter symbols for this feature.

Get another set of 2-5 scatters at this point, to trigger the Pyramid Spins. In these spins, there are special scatters which will each deliver 1 free spin when they land. These turn the special symbols into sticky symbols, so they’re incredibly powerful since they still have the ability to expand.

If we compare what Lost Chapter has to offer, we find that its 10,000x the stake jackpot is considerably better than what the typical Book slot will offer. It keeps the same high volatility, while the RTP can reach 96.20%.

Lost Chapter looks like another Book slot from Play n Go that’s worth looking into. It doesn’t rely on the typical features that everyone knows already, it makes some improvements, and they’re worth checking out.
