White Rabbit Online Slot Machine – Free Play & Review
White Rabbit has been designed as a tribute to the work of Lewis Carroll, which was the writer behind Alice in Wonderland. Though the focus seems to be more on the rabbit that Alice meets in Wonderland, this is still a slot machine that has characters from the novel, including the Cheshire Cat, the Red Queen, Alice and even the caterpillar, though you don’t see it on the reels.
The look of the game is a good one, but since the slot has 5 reels where symbols come in different sizes, it lacks a certain finesse and I can’t say that I’m impressed with the outcome. They also used a large number of poker cards and gemstones for the lower paying symbols, and that doesn’t help matters either.
Big Time Gaming has made a name for itself rather quickly, and they’ve managed to do that by creating unusual slot machines, ones where you typically got more reels, more symbols per reel and more ways to win than in other games. They don’t have a lot of games though. They’re based in Australia and they managed to be included in the collection of games from a number of high value casinos already.
How To Play It
The slot has a Stake section, which you may use to choose the bet for the next round. You can pick a minimum stake of $0.10, or one that can go as high as $20. The game will use the total stake value as a basis for the payouts that it offers you when you’re forming any combinations.
While the way to play the game feels normal, through spins and combinations which form thanks to ways to win, the setup is quite unusual. On the 5 reels of this game, you can expect for the symbols to have sizes that are different each round, from one column to the next. You can have the same card occupy half of one reel, and one seventh of the size of another, and anything in between.
Because you get 2 to 7 symbols on each reel, the number of ways to win varies considerably. At most, you can get 16,807 ways to win during the base game spins, and up to 248,832 ways during free spins.
The Alice Wild symbols are offered on the last four reels of the slot. They are substitutes for all other symbols, but only if they’re not getting roles as scatters, feature drop or cupcakes.
The White Rabbit is the scatter of the slot, and it will give you 15 free spins if you have it appear on all three reels on which it is allowed. Once in free spins mode, if you get Cupcake symbols to appear, they will add extra symbols to the reel they are on. You can have up to 12 symbols on a reel, instead of the regular 2 to 7, and there are more ways to win as a result as well.
At times, as you play through the game, the Caterpillar that sits next to the reels can trigger a feature where it adds up to four additional Bonus Wilds to the game area. These additional wild symbols have multipliers set to 2x or 3x, for combinations that they help form.
You may get paid up to $500 through a single combination of five Red Queen icons, or up to $1,500 if certain Bonus Wilds contribute with their multipliers.
White Rabbit feels like a very interesting release from Big Time Gaming, as are many others that they offer. The graphics are the weak point, and that’s also a common downside in their games.
