The stories of Ancient Egypt, and the deities they mentioned, are not much of a surprise for a lot of slot machine players, we’ve already seen hundreds of these games released over the years. Still, a game where the action revolves around the sisters of Ra, is going to be interesting. The focus here is on sisters/half-sisters, involving female deities called Bastet, Hathor, and Sekhmet. This alone is enough to make the game stand out a bit, since many of the other Egyptian slots don’t make the effort to have something unique in their story.

The first few symbols, the lower paying ones, are themed and revolve around images of the lotus, cat, Sun representation, and cobra snake. The three goddesses are the high value symbols, and they each pay the same amount when forming combinations (they can also be mixed, but they pay less then). The gold Sun on a red background is the wild, while the Scroll is a scatter.

The creator of Sisters of the Sun is called Play n GO. How To Play It

As you can probably guess, you get a betting range between $0.20 and $100, with values chosen from a list displayed at the bottom.

In exchange, the game gives you 5×5 reels, so a total of 25 symbols, which you’re going to use when forming combinations horizontally or vertically, with 3 to 5 symbols. The advantage here, is that you don’t need symbols landing on specific reels or starting from a fixed point.

Special Features

Following a combo’s formation, you will find that the symbols it used will be removed. The ones at the top fall down in the available positions. The rearrangement of symbols will not bring new symbols, and you’re ultimately working towards clearing the entire game area. If that happens, you get paid 50x the stake (the round’s multiplier is also applied to this prize).

Certain positions where symbols may land, are marked with the Eye of Ra. Winning symbols found in those positions will boost the round’s multiplier by 1x.

Losing rounds may bring you one of three Goddess Powers, chosen at random. Each one has its own power:

• Sekhmet will convert a set of symbols;
• Hathor will add 1-2 wilds;
• Bastet will remove two types of symbols.

The Scroll symbol is your scatter, and having just one land in view is enough to trigger a feature called Sisterhood. 1 free spin triggers, with the three goddesses all triggering their power. If you manage to clear the entire grid of symbols at this point, you trigger the free spins. One of the following is chosen by the player, each with its own ability and with twice as many Eye of Ra backgrounds in use.

• 4 Sekhmet free spins where Scrolls add 4 more spins.
• 5 Hathor free spins with Scrolls adding 3 more spins.
• 8 Bastet free spins, with Scrolls adding 2 more spins.

Maximum Payouts
