Bust the Mansion Slot Machine – Free Play & Review
Bust the Mansion has a robbery theme, where the target appears to be a mansion filled with valuables. A huge vault door is used in its Money symbols, Keys are used as scatters, while the Wild logo is part of a jewelry-like icon. The rest of the symbols found inside are split between top-paying valuables (Horus statue, Faberge Egg, Ancient Porcelain Vase, Stone Tablet) and low-value Royals with a fairly ugly design. Overall, an adequate effort, but it’s not the most impressive design around.
The creator of Bust the Mansion is Pulse 8 Studios, in collaboration with Microgaming. This partnership has brought a number of other excellent slots in the past, such as Carnaval Jackpot, Basketball Star on Fire, or Fortune Rush.
How To Play It
Your wagers start from just $0.25, and could go as high as $25. This allows for the entire game area to be covered.
5×3 reels are in use, and the game will allow for 25 paylines to form combinations within it. It’s the standard system, where wins form when 3 to 5 symbols of the same type land on an active line, and from left to right.
One of the features in play here is the Wild. Appearing only during paid spins, it is going to be used as a substitute for any other type of symbol. This allows winning combinations to form, but will not trigger other features. Having up to 5 wilds on a line is possible, and the slot pays very well in such a case, up to 400x the stake for a combo (allowing for a 10,000x top jackpot if you have wilds in all symbol positions and active lines).
Using Key scatters when they land on 3 to 5 reels, you can get 10 to 25 free games to trigger. For this particular mode, you will get a 3rd reel that’s permanently covered by Wild Money Vault icons. Since this reel doesn’t get scatters, you can retrigger the feature only with 3-4 symbols.
The Wild Money Vault symbol is available both for free spins and for respins. They’re both Money symbols and wilds, so they can contribute to other features triggering.
A very popular feature in recent Microgaming slots, the Link & Win respins are part of Bust the Mansion as well. To get access to it, you first need 6+ Money Vault symbols landing in a single round. The triggering symbols become sticky, and then 3 respins begin. Landing more Money Vaults will reset the respins.
As the feature ends, each Money Vault symbol pays its prize. Fixed jackpots are also included, and the Grand version will be paid if you can get all 15 Money symbols to show.
A top jackpot of up to 10,000x the stake will be paid in Bust the Mansion, and there are a couple of ways in which you can claim it. One is through wilds, during paid spins, if they cover all symbol positions and active lines. Another is through Link & Win respins, where you get a Grand Prize of 5,000x the stake, along with up to 15 other prizes of different values.
I’d mention the fact that Bust the Mansion is considered highly volatile, but also that the RTP range includes values as high as 96.23%, so it can be an acceptable option.
Bust the Mansion is a typical slot machine from Microgaming, using a range of features that are easy to find in their releases from recent years. It’s designed for experienced players, but it’s not quite exciting enough to be a better option than a lot of other new slots.
