Genting International Casino is one of the largest casinos in the UK, and it is the biggest in Birmingham. Located inside the Resorts World Complex on Pendigo Way in Birmingham, this attraction cost a whopping £150 million and opened in 2015.
Genting Casino is open from 11am to 5am and seven days a week.
What I really like is the many options at Genting International Casino at Resorts World Birmingham. You can enjoy a full-scale gaming experience featuring a wide selection of popular table games, slot machines, electronic roulette, and a dedicated poker room.
The venue also offers multiple bars, including SportsBar with live betting, two restaurants, and the Resorts World complex, which features shopping, a hotel, a cinema, and even spa facilities.

While the casino offers up quite the selection of gaming options on the floor, the separate poker room is where you will find Texas hold ’em players. I have played the tournaments a couple of times, and it was fun but without much winning luck.
The table games can be very busy at certain hours, but at all the times I’ve played here, I have not had a problem finding a slot to play.

The Fahrenheit Grill is the name given to all the restaurants within Genting Casinos across the UK and the service, and I most say the quality of food here is second to none. You will be able to enjoy everything from pizza to pasta, lighter meals to three-course meals, delicious desserts and a full drinks menu.
If you’re staying in the hotel or simply wanted to take a walk to experience another restaurant in the Resorts World Complex, the Robata Bar & Grill is one place worth checking out. This serves pan-Asian, European and Australasian dishes that are cooked in full view on their Japanese Robata Charcoal Grill. This restaurant is open between the hours of 7 pm and 6 am daily.
As for some relaxation or just the chance to enjoy a number of drinks, you will not be left disappointed at the International Casino in the Resorts World Complex. There are six bars in total and these will provide you with the ability to enjoy just about any alcoholic or non-alcoholic refreshment that you can think of. I had many fun nights with good friends at these bars.
Those bars are the Late Bar, Coffee Bar, The World Bar, High Line New York Bar and Lounge and the Sky Bar.
Special Events
As you might expect, there is a full program of entertainment available at the International Casino and the Resorts World Complex. The bars are where most of this is found where you will be able to enjoy live entertainment, sport, music and shows. The cinema in the complex is another option while you will also find plenty to do in the surrounding area around the complex.
If you are not very experienced with casino games you will certainly be interested in the Genting Casino Experiences where you can learn about a game, get a free bet, welcome drink and something to eat for a great package price. They have an experience package for poker, roulette, blackjack and slots.

Genting Hotel within the Resorts World Complex will obviously be the most convenient if you were looking for somewhere to stay. That said, you will also find the Arden Hotel & Leisure Hotel and the Crowne Plaza not too far away as well.
Driving in, you will most likely want to come in on the M42. The Genting International casino has more than enough parking spaces so this should not be an issue. The 97A and OXF bus services also stop at the resort if this is the mode of transport you were planning to use.
If you’re coming from Birmingham Airport, you have the option of taking a 30-minute walk to the casino or grabbing a taxi which will have you there in five or six minutes.

The Resorts World Complex itself is an attraction in Birmingham and here you will be able to enjoy high-class dining, accommodation and shopping. Furthermore, there is also an IMAX Cinema with 11 screens and the Santai Spa which will also help you to relax during your stay.
Close by you also have the National Motorcycle Museum, National Exhibition Centre, and Living Well Health Clubs. If you wanted to enjoy some of Birmingham’s other main attractions, there’s also Cadbury World, Sea Life Centre and tons of beautiful architecture to admire in the city centre.
