As far as original themed video slots go, Play ‘n Go’s latest creation is right up there with the best of them.

Naturally, the 7 Sins slot is based on famed seven deadly sins, although this particular game is nowhere near as violent as Seven, the last major time the seven deadly sins played a major role in media.

Instead, this new slot is based on seven gorgeous ladies, each one representing one of the sins. The 7 Sins slot machine is colourful, alluring, and quite richly rewarding, especially from a special features point of view. It has its bad bits, but don’t most slots?

Developers

The developers of this slot machine have spared no expense in making 7 Sins look the real deal. The slot has a wealth of decent imagery, and really fits right in there with the traditional look and feel of Play ‘n Go slots.

The slot does break the mould a bit when it comes to special features. For instance, there are 243 paylines for you to bet on, as well as a bucketful of very nifty features.

You wouldn’t expect so much generosity from this developer, but there is certainly that in the 7 Sins slot machine.

How to play

As with any 243 ways to win slot machine, there is no chance of you being able to alter the paylines in this slot. Players will find a 5×3 grid on the reels, and upon those reels, they’ll find plenty of thematic imagery.

The wagering menu doesn’t exactly blend in with the theme, nor does it stick out like a sore thumb. Players will be able to use this menu to choose instant bet sizes of $0.20, $1, $2, $5, $7.50, $10, $20, $30, $50, $75, or $100 per spin.

Features

Wild symbols: Two wild symbols grace the 7 Sins slot machine. The first of these is a plain and basic wild icon.

It can substitute for all other icons in the game and takes the shape of a 7. The second wild symbol appears as a double 7. It can split itself, allowing players to bag wins with 6-of-a-kind, and 7-of-a-kind combinations.

Scatter symbols: Scatter icons in this slot can double the total bet when 3 or more appear on the reels in any position.

Three such symbols will also trigger a free spins bonus round. However, if only two scatters appear on the reels, players can trigger a Second Chance feature, which may guide to the free spins bonus anyway, or offer you a consolation prize worth 15x your total bet.

Win Spins bonus: Three scatters will afford you a total of 7 free spins. Notably, these are Play ‘n Go’s typical Win Spins. This means that every single spin is guaranteed to land you a cash prize.

The best paying symbols in this slot are the wild icons. Players can win cash prizes worth 1x, 2x, 20x, or 700x their total stake for landing a win with 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 wild symbols appearing in the combination.

This non-progressive jackpot can, therefore, see you win $70,000 in all if you win with a 7-of-a-kind combination with the maximum stake wagered.

Summary

7 Sins is a very enjoyable slot to play. There are plenty of ways for you to accumulate wins, and we have to say that Play ‘n Go have gone out of their way to produce a highly entertaining slot, and one which offers a surplus of features.

There is room for criticism, though. With 7 sin icons, and 4 playing card suit symbols, as well as 2 wilds and a scatter, there is a rather sizeable number of symbols appearing in this slot.

That can make it tricky to land 7-of-a-kind wins on this slot often. As we’ve said, though, the other features pretty much assure you of wins of some kind or another.
