Design

4 season is a five reel slot set in mountainous region. It is snowing behind the reels, and this is done with a realistic animation. There is a Chinese shrine, type thing in the background, and it all looks very nice. Betsoft have done well with this background. The reels have a lot of red and gold around them. These are Chines colours of luck and joy, which is what the average slot player needs.

The games symbols pay homage to the ancient Chinese Zodiac. There are twelve representative animal symbols on the reels. In the corner of the interface, there is a Seasonal Wheel it is an interesting design feature. In this, game every 30 spins the season will change which, alters the aesthetic.

How to play

There are 30 paylines in 4 season, and the gameplay is, more or less, standard. The reels are spun, when the player presses the Spin Button, in the game’s panel. It will begin an animation designed to give the appearance that the reels are spinning, to pay homage to the slots of old.

During this time, a pseudorandom number generation pops up a configuration of symbols, on to the reels. If by calculated chance, any of the paylines have landed on the reels, the player wins, in accordance with the value of the payline. Special Features

The rotating season wheel, does not only, change the background image, once every 30 spins. It also attaches a multiplier to wins, made of the current zodiac’s symbol. This is a great use of the theme, and a quality in reel feature. Up to a ten times multiplier can be added to an in season win, and the animals to either side of it receive smaller multipliers.

There are also multiplications for block combos it is an original feature, which is hard to grasp without playing the game. But, in essence the player will just win more if they land a big group of symbols.

The Golden Cat Wild will substitute any symbol, except the scatter to make a winning payline. And the Scatter symbol looks like a Yin and Yang. It unlocks a free spins game with identical gameplay to the base game. The more scatters the player lands the more free spins they win.
