Current Jackpot: €217,728
Playtech has always been known to have a bit of an innovative streak in them and with Everybody’s Jackpot, their popular progressive slot, this becomes very clear indeed.
The reason for the title of this slot becomes clear when you discover that the progressive jackpot that can be won by players actually has a portion of it shared among many other players that have helped contribute to it.
It also stands out due to a reel format that is just 3×3 in design and has only 8-paylines. That might be enough to scare players away but despite this low amount of paylines, there are plenty of other ways to win such as an excellent free spins round that sees the inclusion of a welcome wild symbol.
Everybody’s Jackpot has a return-to-player percentage of 94.01% and has a medium volatility that should ensure fairly regular payouts that are of decent value on average.
As you might have guessed, Everybody’s Jackpot is based on a game show and you are the contestant that is hoping to land some big wins and potentially change your life.
You are tasked with trying to find winning combinations on the small 3×3 reel format and also to hopefully unlock the free spins round or even win the randomly activated progressive jackpot.
There is not much else in the way of game features but we like the simple nature of this game that has not sacrificed on the ability for players to win some huge sums of money.
Graphics and Sound
The graphics on Everybody’s Jackpot are actually very good considering it was first launched back in 2013. There is an introductory animation scene and further scenes can be enjoyed throughout the game as it is played.
In the centre of the screen, you have the reels and they have been designed in such a way that they are the central part of this game show. Then to the right, you have the attractive hostess that operates the game in front of the cameras.
She moves, smiles and blinks as you spin the reels and makes for a good little distraction as you wait for the reels to stop spinning.
As for the sounds on this slot, as it is themed around a fictional game show, you can expect to hear the typical glitz and glamour that these usually provide. The theme music is also quite catchy as you might expect.
Base Game Symbols
Despite having such a small reel format, Everybody’s Jackpot does manage to squeeze a good number of symbols into the game with there being eleven of them in total.
The standard symbols on the reels include the shows host, pretty hostess stack of gold bars, a wad of cash, gold watch and the Ace, King and Queen playing card symbols.
The host will earn the most if you find three of him across a payline with a 250x the line bet reward coming your way. He can only win with three in a win line however while the hostess can earn you wins even if she is found just once on the reels. She is worth 150x the line bet when found three times, 20x when found twice and worth 2x the line bet when found once.
Wild symbols are represented by a ‘Wild’ symbol while the scatter symbols are represented by the games logo.
Unfortunately, there is no wild symbol in the base game but it is understandable that they had to even things out with just a 3×3 reel format and eight paylines.
The good news, however, is that there is a wild symbol in the free spins round on Everybody’s Jackpot. It is only found on the middle reel and will only land in the centre position if it ever lands after a spin. A wild in that position will almost guarantee wins whenever it is found.
It can replace all symbols on the reels apart from the scatter symbol and while it has no multiplier attached to any wins it creates, the very fact it is involved in such a small reel format is a massive bonus in its own right.
The Everybody’s Jackpot logo is the scatter symbol on this online slot and if you land a minimum of them anywhere in view on the reels you will be given 12 free spins.
During the free spins round, you will have a wild symbol that is added to the middle reel. This symbol will only ever appear in the most central location on that reel (the most lucrative position).
As the free spins round plays out there is the potential to land further sets of 12 free spins whenever you land that scatter symbol again a minimum of free times on the reels after a spin.
As with many other online slots, the progressive jackpot can be won at random after any spin. However, there is a big twist with this jackpot that will certainly go down well with players.
Playtech has been very clever here and has created even more reason for players to play this slot as much as possible. Instead of just creating a progressive jackpot slot that awards just the player who won the jackpot, they have found a way to reward other qualifying players with a share of 30% of that progressive jackpot.
- Winner wins 70% of the total progressive jackpot
- All players that had wagered at least $50 in the 24 hours leading up to the win will get a share of 15% of the total progressive jackpot in proportion to the size of their wagers
- All players that had wagered at least $50 in the 24 hours leading up to the win will get an equal share of 15% of the total progressive jackpot.
Essentially, this means that as long as you have bet $50 on Everybody’s Jackpot in the 24 hours leading up to a player winning the jackpot, you will get at least an equal share of 15% of that amount and if you bet a lot more, you will get the equivalent to your wagering amount from the final 15% share.
Placing bets on Everybody’s Jackpot is extremely easy as you only have to mess with the line bet in order to establish the total spin bet on the slot. There are only 8 paylines and these are fixed, so all bets will always cover the full amount of lines available.
The betting range on Everybody’s Jackpot is hardly going to suit the highest of high rollers out there with a max bet of 1.00 which is created by placing 1.00 as a line bet, but we feel this is a game designed mostly for quick and simple gambling that has the potential for some impressive wins.
Why Play Everybody’s Jackpot
What we like about Everybody’s Jackpot is that even though there are only 8-paylines and just a reel format of 3×3, Playtech has still managed to implement bonus features such as free spins and a progressive jackpot.
The latter is also the main selling point of this game as it not only awards the outright winner of the jackpot but also gives 30% of the amount to all other qualifying players that had recently contributed to the increasing jackpot amount.
Anyone looking for a simple yet effective progressive slot would do far worse than checking out Everybody’s Jackpot, especially considering that fact that you could be in for a windfall even if you do not land that progressive jackpot all for yourself.
