How To Play It

Gold Collector gives us a list of bet values to choose from, so it’s keeping things simple. The lower limit is at $0.10, while the upper limit is $100.

Regardless of the wager size, the game delivers 50 active lines on 5×4 reels. As usual, if you get 3 matching symbols or more, left to right on a line, you will get paid.

Special Features

First of all, the Wild symbol is used as a substitute, so regular combinations may form with its assistance. It’s been limited to appearances on reels 2-4.

Get the Dynamite scatters to land 3 times, all on the middle reels, and you get 8 free spins out of it.

If you want a bigger prize, then you’re likely looking at the Hyperhold Respins with hope. Cash prizes are paid by each reel, and they go from the Mini to the Grand Jackpot, depending on which column gets you paid.

To get the Hyperhold bonus, you first need 3+ Coin symbols on the reels, scattered around. A new screen loads up, where you use the triggering Coins, and you try to get more (Coins and blank positions are the only ones which will land). Only the triggering reels are active, and each one gets 3 spins, where it tries to get additional Coins. If that happens, the spins reset back to 3. Fill a reel with Coins, and you get its jackpot. These coins have prizes displayed on them, which will be paid at the end of the feature. It’s a different take on the Hold and Win respins, which have been easy to find in new slots lately.

Maximum Payouts

Regardless of how you get your prizes, they will not go higher than 1,200x the stake for a single spin. It’s a good enough payout, in a slot machine which has a 96.40% RTP and medium volatility.

The Hyperhold spins are the ones with the higher potential, as the five fixed jackpots triggered there will range from Mini (10x the stake), to Minor (20x), Maxi (50x), Major (100x) and Grand (1,000x).

Summary

Gold Collector has a new take on the Hyperhold spins, with only certain reels active for them, but other than that it feels like a perfectly average slot machine, in every respect. It will do in a pinch, but it’s not a memorable release.
