Royal Caribbean Cruises – Navigator of the Seas Casino Review

Royal Caribbean Cruises Navigator of the Seas, Casino

Interested in one of the most luxurious cruises in the Caribbean? Well then visit the Navigator of the Seas and you can do that and enjoy one of the best casino gaming experiences on the ocean. The Casino Royale is one of the largest casinos located on a cruise ship in the world. This isn’t your average ‘small’ gaming area, here you can enjoy over 1,000 square ft of entertainment.

The ship was recently remodelled in 2018 and the casino was outfitted like a typical vegas casino with plenty of lighting and carpets giving the perfect gaming environment. Here you’ll find an electronic gaming section, filled mainly with slot machines, and a table gaming section with all the games you’d expect to find in a brick-and-mortar casino.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISES – NAVIGATOR OF THE SEAS CASINO GAMES

All of the games available on the Navigator of the Seas are top-class. You’ll walk into their gaming area – located in the centre of the fourth deck – and immediately be hit by the opulence of the environment. This isn’t a normal cruise casino and is filled with the most popular gaming options available. Whether you prefer table games or electronic games, they have it all, including quality tables and comfortable seating.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISES – NAVIGATOR OF THE SEAS CASINO DRESS CODE

When you’re on a cruise ship, the last thing you’ll want to do is have to get changed into formal attire just to visit the casino. Luckily, the casino on the Navigator of the Seas offers a casual dress code so that you can get straight into the gaming action. There are a few outfit choices that they don’t allow in the casino, like swimming attire and bare feet.

FOOD & BEVERAGES

If you’re looking for something to drink, look no further than the Casino Royale’s very own bar. Located in the centre of the gaming floor, this bar is fully stocked with the cruise ships selection of wines, beers, ciders, and spirits. There are also non-alcoholic drinks available and they offer a small snack menu including basic items like sandwiches and chips.

On the same deck as the casino, you have another two bar options, a Starbucks, and 2 dining options. The Schooner Bar and Boleros are each located on either side of the casino entrance, one towards from front of the ship and the other towards the back. Both offer a slightly different environment with the Schooler Bar doubling as a piano and live music bar with a nautical theme and the Beloros offering a simplistic bar experience with a few HD TVs and couches to help you relax.

Food is never far away and you have some very delicious choices. The Main Dining room is a multi-deck dining option with access from the Fourth Deck (just behind the casino). Here you will find breakfast, lunch, and dinner (all included in the packages) made up of a variety of world-class options like steaks, lamb, and delicious desserts. The restaurant requires guests to dress smart casual.

Hooked Seafood is on the other side of the casino and offers a fresh seafood menu with oysters, lobster, and salmon available. This restaurant is not included in the price but offers some of the most refreshing lunches and dinners on the ship.

SPECIAL EVENTS

At Casino Royale you won’t find any special events, but there are always events available on this luxury cruise ship. They offer some of the most unique amenities available on any cruise and they use these to provide special entertainment like ice skating shows from their ice rink or ballroom dancing productions in their large dancing hall.

You can also enjoy their original theatre productions or even learn how to dance from one of their evening dance classes. Other special events include:

  • Scuba Certification
  • Language Classes
  • Theme Nights
  • Outdoor Movie Nights

ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORTATION

There are four cabin options available aboard the Navigator of the Seas: Interior, Ocean View, Balcony, and Suit. The interior rooms are their most basic options but still include ample space with a small lounge area and en-suite bathroom. The more extravagant options like Ocean View and Balcony give you a taste of the open ocean from your bedroom. The Ocean View and Balcony rooms are the same sizes but the one only offers a large window while the other has a small balcony.

The Suite is the most luxurious option on the ship and you’ll have your own lounge area and a deck big enough to really enjoy. If you want to take your cruise experience to the next level, these cabins are a great way to do that.

If you’re interested in a cruise on this luxury ship then you can visit their ‘Destinations’ page and find out on their latest voyages. This ship stays in the Caribbean for most of the year and its main port of departure is in Miami, Florida. Before booking, make sure you have transportation to the port of departure because otherwise, you’re going to be stuck with a cruise ticket and no way of getting to it.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

This ship is filled with some of the best cruise attractions in the world. Just looking at the ship you can already see this isn’t going to be your average cruise. On the upper deck you’ll find some of the best attractions, including their unique miniature water park with Riptide and The Blaster water slides. They offer the largest water slide on any cruise ship in the world and it even has a section that extends over open water.

Inside there are just as many attractions, including:

  • Laser Tag
  • Children’s Play Areas
  • Starbucks
  • Fitness Classes
  • Whirlpools
  • Library & Card Room
