Ace Ventura is a colourful, light hearted slot from Playtech. The theme is based on, Ace Ventura Pet Detective. A long forgot Jim Carrey movie from 1994. It was a comedy movie, in which Ace solved all kinds of animal crime.

Design

Ace Ventura, is a five reel slot. It looks good. The white reels and colour filled background all work together nicely. The Interface border is crooked and the contorted panel was a design choice, probably made because of the comedic nature of the movie.

The symbols are based around notable scenes from the movie. The pay line is not a line, but a strobing animation across the relevant symbols. The padlocks in boxes at the top right of the interface are the game modifiers, which the player can collect, more on that in the “Bonus Features” segment.

How to play
